Uses

Not a spec sheet. Just the tools I reach for often enough to mention.

Daily driver

Linux Mint 22.3
My main desktop runs Cinnamon on Linux Mint.
Ryzen 7 5700G + 64 GB RAM
A compact Gigabyte B550I build in a Terra case, with a 2 TB Samsung 990 PRO.
Gigabyte Radeon RX 9060 XT OC
A 16 GB graphics card in the daily driver.
Two screens
A 34-inch Samsung ultrawide at 3440×1440 and a 24-inch MSI side display.

Editors and daily tools

Zed
My main editor on Linux at the moment.
VS Code
I still use it sometimes. I am trying both and have not decided which one fits me best yet.
Bash, Python, TypeScript
The usual mix for scripts, small services, and web projects.
Windows laptop
I still have a Microsoft laptop running Windows, connected to my own Microsoft tenant.

Homelab

Five-node Proxmox cluster
Cellar, Cipherbrew, Afterhours, Barista, and Foundry. The nodes range from 7th-gen Intel i3s to an i5-14500T.
Capacity
104 GB RAM across the cluster: 88 GB DDR4 and 16 GB DDR5, plus roughly 4.5 TB of local SSD storage.
Gitea + Docker
Source code and containers stay close to the machines that run them.
OpenMediaVault
Storage is part of the lab, not an afterthought.
UniFi UDM Pro Max + Tailscale
The network edge and remote access.

Cloud and identity

Microsoft Entra + Intune
My own tenant for identity, devices, and the Windows laptop.
OVH, Hetzner, and Azure
The cloud services I use, depending on what a project needs.
Hetzner Storage Box
20 TB of shared storage for backups and other data that should live outside the lab.
YubiKeys + GPG
Hardware-backed sign-in and keys where they are useful.

AI tools

Claude + Mistral
Tools I use to help with debugging, drafts, and trying approaches. They are helpers, not a replacement for judgment.
OpenRouter + Microsoft Foundry
API providers behind a few tools and experiments I run.

This is a snapshot, not a promise. It changes when the setup does.
